About
Delphe Field is a handwriting logbook for kanji learners who know that real fluency comes from ink on paper, not taps on glass. Before you write, the app shows you the correct stroke order in a glowing animated sequence — each line appearing over a faint ghost glyph so you absorb both shape and construction at once. When you are ready, step away from the screen, write the character by hand, and come back to photograph your sheet and add it to your practice record. The stroke-order canvas is the visual signature of the app. Every built-in character plays back its strokes one by one on a dark, ink-bench background, with each new stroke glowing into place at a steady pace. A Watch tab runs the sequence on a timer so you can observe without touching the screen; a Try tab shuffles the stroke descriptions and asks you to tap them back into the correct order, testing your recall before your next session at the desk. You can extend the library with your own characters. The stroke builder gives you a nine-zone placement grid and six stroke kinds — horizontal, vertical, diagonal, flick, dot, and turn — to map out any character you want to practice. Arrange them in order, add a reading, and save; the new entry joins your reference list and sheet log exactly like the built-in set. Progress reports are built around real practice data. An eight-week chart shows how many sheets you have logged each week. Stroke-count spread bands reveal which complexity ranges you spend the most time on. A radical-coverage meter tracks how many of the twelve core radical families have made it into your practice record. Everything works offline, entirely on-device, with no account or subscription required.Read more
