ZingZing is a system-level alarm clock: when it goes off, you have to finish a small challenge before you can dismiss it. The challenge can be a math problem, word spelling, a QR scan, a photo match, handwriting or a step count — 15 to pick from, and you can stack them. The point is simple: keep you genuinely awake for the ten seconds it takes to dismiss an alarm, instead of silencing it on reflex. Alarms are scheduled by iOS itself through AlarmKit, not by an app that has to stay running in the background.
