LidarLab: Floor Plan & Volume

Scan a room with your iPhone Pro. Get the floor plan and the cubic metres before you leave. LidarLab uses the LiDAR scanner on iPhone Pro to measure what is actually there, rather than guessing from a photo. Measuring is free. Floor plans and quotes are where the paid plans come in. ESTATE AGENTS AND LANDLORDS Walk a flat room by room and get a labelled 2D floor plan with room sizes, total area in square metres and square feet, doors and windows, colour-coded by room type. Export it as a PDF or PNG for the listing or the tenancy file. Your first 3 floor plans are free and full quality, no card needed. REMOVALS AND STORAGE Scan the rooms and get the volume in cubic metres, with the share of the space the sensor actually saw, so you know when a figure is solid and when to rescan. Use it to price a move, size a storage unit or check what fits in the loft. RENOVATION AND TRADES QUOTES Get room dimensions, ceiling heights and floor areas for flooring, painting or an extension, then turn a volume report into a one-page PDF quote on site. On Business, quotes carry your logo, company details and terms, and floor plans export as DXF drawings for CAD. FURNITURE FIT Measure an alcove, a doorway or a ceiling before you buy. Object mode walks you round a single item and builds a 3D model of it, so you can check the sofa against the space it is going into. DIY Distances, room dimensions and ceiling height are free for as long as you use the app. Scan as much as you like. Pro and Business are monthly or yearly subscriptions, priced in your local currency on the purchase screen. There is no free trial: the free tier is the trial. If you stop subscribing, everything you already made stays on your phone, readable and exportable. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account. No sign-up. No analytics. LidarLab works offline and talks to the network only when you buy or restore a subscription. Your scans stay on your iPhone, in Files. HONEST NUMBERS Range falls off past about five metres, bright sunlight washes out the sensor and glass returns nothing useful. The app tells you when coverage is too low to trust a figure.
