Dentomation Academy

Dentomation Academy is the training app for UK dental practice teams. It turns the software your practice already uses into structured, recorded learning, so a new starter can get up to speed and an experienced nurse or dentist can keep their CPD in order. Learning built around the working day Courses are short and practical. Each lesson takes a few minutes and covers one thing properly: taking a BPE, charting a visit, building a treatment plan, raising an FP17, getting the evidence trail right for a CQC inspection. Lessons open with the screen you will actually be looking at, annotated, and you can tap it to zoom in and drag around the detail. Every lesson has a Steps tab that walks through the task in order, and a Task tab that tells you what to go and do in the practice afterwards. A short check at the end confirms the lesson landed before it is marked complete. Pick up where you stopped Home shows the lesson you were last in, how far through the course you are, and how long is left. Anything your manager has assigned to you sits at the top with its due date, so nothing gets quietly missed. A daily reminder is available if you want one, and it can be switched off in Settings. Your CPD record, kept as you go My CPD holds your record without you having to keep a separate spreadsheet. Completed courses log their hours, you can note whether the aims were met, attach a PDF or photo as evidence, and download the certificate when a course is finished. It is built around what the GDC expects of enhanced CPD, so an inspection or an appraisal does not become an evening of paperwork. For practice managers If you manage a practice, Team shows how your people are getting on: who has finished what, who has an assignment outstanding, and where training is needed before it becomes a problem. Search across everything Search covers courses, lessons and the terms used in the software itself, so if you cannot remember where a setting lives, you can look it up rather than guess. Made for the way a practice works Academy runs on phones and tablets, in light or dark, and follows your device setting. It is the same design language as the rest of Dentomation, so nothing feels like a different product bolted on. Signing in Academy needs a Dentomation account. Your practice creates accounts in the management panel and you sign in here with those details, so there is nothing to set up and nothing to buy inside the app. Every course is included with your practice subscription. Not a patient app Academy is for practice staff. It holds no patient records and is not used for clinical decisions about a patient.
