About

SKALE is paperwork software for music contractors who hire big union groups: orchestras, scoring dates, record sessions and live engagements. It handles the whole job in one place. CONTACTS IN Import your phone contacts as a vCard, a Google or Outlook CSV, a PDF personnel list, or paste a roster. SKALE reads the names, instruments and numbers for you. BOOK THE ORCHESTRA Build first-call lists for every instrument. Pick an ensemble template, from a rhythm section to an 88-piece scoring orchestra, and auto-fill every chair from your lists in one tap. CONFIRM THE PLAYERS Text, call or email each player with a personalized message. When someone passes, the next name on your list slides into the chair. SIGN IN ON STAGE Hand an iPad to the players at the stage door. Each musician taps their name, confirms their address, Local and card number, and signs. Missing paperwork details fill themselves in. FILE THE PAPERWORK SKALE totals scale wages, overtime, doubles, cartage, pension, health and welfare and work dues. Then it: • prints a B-4 or B-7 style worksheet with signatures • exports a payroll CSV • fills your Local's own fillable PDF, with continuation pages for big orchestras A filing check flags what would bounce the form: no leader, no contractor on a large date, double-booked players, missing Local, card number, address or SSN, and overtime that was not logged. RATES YOU CAN SEE Built-in rate cards for common Local 47 and Local 802 agreements list their sources. Anything unconfirmed or past its published end date is flagged, and every number can be edited. Always check rates against your Local's current scale sheet before filing. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS No account. No ads. No tracking. No servers. Everything is saved on your device only. Social Security numbers are encrypted with AES-256 using a passphrase only you know, and only the last four digits are ever shown. Back up and move between devices with one file. TRY IT FREE Everything is unlocked free for 3 days. Nothing is charged and nothing renews. After that, a one-time $2.99 unlock keeps SKALE open forever. SKALE is an independent tool.
