DOUGHSKY: Musician Pay Log

DOUGHSKY is a flight recorder for a working musician's money. The band stops late. The leader says "stay 45 more." You pick up the congas for two tunes, haul the kit up three flights, and pay $18 to park. Then the check comes and it's the number from the text message. DOUGHSKY catches the rest. PUT IN THE DEAL Pick a preset (club date, hourly, flat fee, rehearsal + show, AFM recording session, film scoring, Local 802 classical) or build your own: rate, minimum call, overtime units, break rules, doubling premiums, cartage, mileage, per diem, cancellation window and premium time. CLOCK IN AT THE DOOR One tap stamps the time and where you are. If the downbeat is late, the call still started on time. THE METER RUNS A live clock and earnings meter count overtime in your deal's units, rounded up. A break countdown tells you when you're owed a break and logs the violation if you don't get one. Log doubles, cartage, parking, tolls, meals and miles with one tap. Record a voice note or type a change ("stay 30 more at overtime") with who approved it. SEE WHAT THE DEAL MISSED At wrap, DOUGHSKY builds the bill and tags every line the deal alone would have missed: overtime past the schedule, late-downbeat time, extra doubles, cartage, expenses, break penalties and cancellation fees. INVOICE + PROOF Issue a numbered invoice and a timestamped "what actually happened" record: the timeline of the job, deal versus reality, every event with its time, and who approved each change. Print, save as PDF, email or share. KNOW WHO OWES YOU Log payments as they come in. The Money tab shows what's outstanding, how late it is, and everything the log caught this year.
