About
A simple metronome for practicing at gradually increasing tempos. ■ Progressive tempo Set it to "raise by 5 every 4 bars" and the tempo climbs on its own. It stops automatically when you reach your target. Start at a tempo you can play, then work your way up. It's the reliable way to get fast passages under your fingers. The total number of bars and the estimated duration appear as soon as you set it, so you can build a practice routine around it. ■ Count-in Four stick-click counts before you start playing. In progressive mode, a count-in comes before every tempo change. It counts at the tempo you're about to play, so you can feel the new speed before your first note. You can turn the count-in off. Letting the tempo climb without a break is a different kind of practice. ■ Pick up where you left off Pause and you return to the start of that tempo segment. Didn't play it cleanly? Just go again. You can also step back or forward a tempo before resuming. It works the way a music player does. ■ Save your practice plans Give a tempo setting a name and save it. Keep one for each piece or exercise — "Scales," "Solo" — and you're ready to play with a single tap. ■ Also included ・Tempo range 30–252 ・1 to 16 beats per bar, including odd meters ・Tap tempo ・Background playback, keeps going with the screen locked ・Resumes after interruptions such as phone calls Built for accuracy. The tempo won't drift, however long you practice.Read more
