About
Where are we eating tonight, and what do we order once we're there? Krokiet settles both with scores from the people you actually eat with, not strangers on the internet. You sit down, and one of you opens the app and records the meal. Pick the place on the map, add who's at the table and what you ordered, then give every dish a score out of 10. Each person scores on their own, so when Bartek loves the tartare and Ada can't stand it, both numbers stay. Friends without Krokiet still get a seat. Add them by name and score their dishes for them. When they install it, send them a link and every score you kept for them becomes theirs. When you're done, Krokiet prints the bill. Not what you owe. It's the dish of the night, the worst plate, the biggest argument at the table and how tonight compares to your usual. Send it to the group chat as a picture. What builds up over time: - A map of every place your friends have rated, coloured by how it scored - Your best dishes, sorted into lists like pierogi, ramen, pizza and croquettes - The same dish compared across every place you've had it - Menus from a photo. One person photographs the menu, and everyone eating there picks dish names instead of typing them Only your friends see your scores. There's no public feed, no public profile and no reviews from people you've never met. You become friends by scanning each other's code or sending a link, and either of you can undo it. The map covers restaurants, cafes and bars across Europe from open map data, and you can add a place that's missing. Recording a meal works with no signal and sends itself when you're back online. The app started because I forgot where is my best chicken sandwich. I'm still searching for one.Read more
