About
Make a little space between scrolling and whatever comes next. Syro is a quiet reflection app for iPhone. Choose the apps or activity categories you want it to watch, and Syro stays in the background. After a meaningful longer session, it can offer a gentle check-in that helps you notice what the moment may have been giving you. There is no blocking, no imposed limit, and no judgment. Syro does not notify you every time you open an app. It waits until Apple Screen Time detects a longer session in something you selected, then offers a small opportunity to pause. If it feels useful, you can add a little context by choosing “bored,” “avoiding something,” “habit,” or “needed a break.” Adding context is always optional. There is no right answer, and Syro never labels your choice as good or bad. A few minutes of activity rarely says much about an entire day. Syro waits until later, when there is enough context, before preparing a daily reflection. It brings together the sessions it noticed and any context you chose to add, creating a calm and concise reflection designed to encourage awareness rather than guilt. You can revisit your reflections by Day, Week, or Month. Syro can also let you know when a new daily reflection is ready. If there is not enough context for something useful, it simply remains quiet. Everything Syro needs is processed and stored on your iPhone. There is no account, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, tracking, or external AI service. Syro uses Apple’s Screen Time technologies to monitor activity only in the apps and categories you choose. It does not read your messages, posts, searches, photos, or any content inside another app. Reflections are created on your device using carefully written rules and language templates. Nothing is sent to an external AI service, keeping the experience private, responsive, and available offline. Syro is not another feed, a screen blocker, or a strict productivity system. It is a quieter way to notice your scrolling, reflect on what you may have needed from the moment, and make your next choice with a little more awareness. Gentle signals for intentional scrolling. Screen Time access is required to monitor selected activity. Notifications are optional and are used only for check-ins and reflection-ready updates.Read more
