About

Slot Caliber Bench is an offline precision watchmaking strategy game set in the fictional Ashgrove workshop. Take repair jobs, assemble a movement from its barrel through the gear train to the escapement, then measure and regulate it against strict timing tolerances. Choose two tools, review the power-flow diagram and remaining clearances, and run the five-axis assembly cycle. Every stop has a mechanical meaning: train level, escapement, spring, finish or regulation. Build a valid Parts Set, install compatible components, inspect end shake and meshing, and resolve conflicts at the exact component that caused them. Timing Tokens add one HOLD or NUDGE decision per round; they alter a chosen axis without changing the result already determined by the movement state. Move into the Timing Room to adjust beat error, amplitude, rate and isochronism. Use multi-position rate curves to separate balance, escapement and train problems. Standard Bench Work jobs introduce the complete service loop; Chronometer Trial raises precision targets; Restoration Ward asks you to recover a fictional vintage caliber while preserving critical parts. Twenty-four work orders, six fictional movement families and twelve independent regulation puzzles provide a long, structured progression. The system is deterministic and fully offline. The same movement state and action sequence produce the same result, so diagnosis and planning matter more than reaction speed. There are no accounts, adverts, purchases, consumable currency, real-money wagering or physical rewards. Service records remain on the device and build a traceable history for each movement. Key features: - Five mechanical axes: Train, Escapement, Spring, Finish and Regulation. - Visible gear-train dependencies, tolerances, materials and lubrication choices. - HOLD and NUDGE decisions that change specific assembly positions without extra currency. - Three modes: Bench Work, Chronometer Trial and Restoration Ward. - Twenty-four work orders and twelve calibration puzzles. - Portrait support for iPhone and iPad.Read more
