Clean up the paste Copied text can contain hidden marks, unusual spaces and punctuation that does not match the way you normally write. Aftertype removes supported hidden marks and lets you choose how dashes, quotes, ellipses and spaces should look. Choose what changes Compare the original with the cleaned text before using it. Keep or turn off any punctuation change, edit the original and save custom replacements for names, phrases or characters you fix often. The text you paste is not uploaded for processing or included in analytics or ad requests. Aftertype checks supported hidden marks and optional punctuation changes. Hidden marks can also come from websites and word processors, so finding one does not prove who wrote the text. Statistical AI watermark removal works differently because it requires changes to word choice. It is planned for the next version; join the in-app waitlist to hear when it is ready.
