About

Space BQS is the Bunker Quantity Survey app for marine surveyors, chief engineers, and bunker operators - the standard record of fuel received, from deck readings to a signed custody-transfer quantity. RECORD EVERY SURVEY WITH CONFIDENCE • Log bunker deliveries, ROB surveys, and debunkering jobs with a guided, color-coded form — measured, retrieved, and calculated fields are always visually distinct • Capture tank ullages or soundings, temperature, free water, fuel grade (VLSFO, HFO, MGO, LSMGO, ULSFO), density at 15°C, BDN number, port, and inspector • Scan a QR code at the manifold or tank hatch to pull vessel and tank identity straight into the form — no list-picking • Let the Space AI form-fill assistant parse raw BDN or notebook readings into the right fields (it only accepts values inside each tank's calibrated range) ONE CALCULATION, EVERYWHERE — FULLY TRACEABLE • Every tank line runs the same deterministic five steps: observed volume from the tank calibration table, free-water deduction, Volume Correction Factor lookup per ASTM D1250 / API MPMS Table 54B, correction to 15°C, then mass and quantity in MT • Readings between table points are interpolated and flagged — never silently rounded • A tank that fails any step shows a clear error while the rest of the survey still calculates • Every quantity cites its exact reference table revision; finalized surveys lock and become read-only • Surveys move Draft → Calculated → Finalized (with Under Review if genuinely reopened for correction) AN INDEPENDENT CHECK BEFORE SIGN-OFF • Basic AI Analysis explains the survey's own figures — tank contributions, VCF sensitivity, unit conversions — quoting the numbers exactly without recalculating • Detailed AI Analysis comes back from your organisation's own Space AI agent: survey particulars, sounding matrix, fuel quality vs ISO 8217 limits, and a multi-agent audit scoreboard • Ask Space AI answers free-form questions about any survey, grounded only in its actual calculation data BUILT FOR LIFE AT SEA — AND IN PORT • Works fully offline: the tank register, ASTM tables, and your surveys stay cached on the device, with a plain "showing saved device data" notice when there's no signal • New surveys save as drafts and queue for upload; Push & Reconcile drains the queue and flags anything needing retry • Fleet dashboard with surveyed volumes, quantity trends, survey status, and per-vessel views (or all vessels at once) SHARE & REPORT IN SECONDS • Export any survey as a branded print-ready PDF or an Excel workbook; the Metric/Imperial toggle only changes display — stored figures stay metric • On finalization, the report is handed automatically to your organisation's Space AI agent for delivery to stakeholders and filing — no manual export-and-email • Your drafts and records stay safely on the device, even if you sign out Space BQS is made by the Space AI team for the people who keep vessels fuelled and compliant. Custody-transfer figures have to hold up months after delivery — to whoever disputes them — so every number in this app traces back to the exact table that produced it. Note: Space BQS connects to your organisation's SpaceAI backend service. You'll need an account provided by your administrator to sign in.Read more
