Linkalyst: Network Toolkit

Linkalyst is a network toolkit for iPhone and iPad. Measure latency, compare DNS answers, check TCP ports and HTTPS, trace routes, and keep useful results as reports. MEASURE THE CONNECTION • Chart Ping (ICMP) or UDP probes to up to six targets in one run • Inspect typical latency (P50), slower requests (P95), variation and timeouts • Check a TCP endpoint once or repeatedly, up to 50 times • Inspect website status, redirects, DNS/TCP/TLS timing and HTTPS certificates COMPARE DNS ANSWERS • Query system DNS or choose UDP, TCP, DNS over HTTPS (DoH) or DNS over TLS (DoT) • Compare system DNS with up to four individually configured resolvers • Use provider presets or a custom endpoint and inspect answer differences, response codes and failures • Look up A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SOA and PTR records • DoH and DoT apply to queries in Linkalyst; they do not change your device's DNS settings CHECK YOUR NETWORK TARGETS • Batch Scan in Port Check accepts IPv4 lists/CIDR and known IPv6 addresses • Choose a port preset or edit ports and ranges: up to 256 addresses and 4,096 address/port combinations per run • Observe advertised web, SSH, printing and file-sharing services with Bonjour • Save targets, names, notes and related reports in My Devices; organize them by an optional network label • Carry a selected address into another tool, then start the test yourself Batch scanning uses TCP connections. A timeout does not prove that a device is offline. Bonjour shows advertised services, not every device on the network. SPEED, ROUTES AND ADDRESSES • Route Trace for IPv4 and IPv6, with up to 30 hops • Download Test for a URL you choose, up to 64 MiB or 10 seconds • Throughput Test for upload or download to a free test peer you run on your own computer • Gateway information and an offline IPv4/IPv6 Subnet Calculator KEEP THE RESULTS • Search reports, add stars and tags, compare supported results and share JSON or CSV • Optional iCloud Drive report sync; device entries, stars and tags stay on each device • Native iPhone and iPad interfaces, with English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, French, German and Italian Use network tests only on systems you own or have permission to test.
