About

"Sound Meter is a local-first tool for everyday sound observation. See sound-level changes, save measurements, and compare different moments or conditions. • Live observation: view current level, equivalent level, maximum and minimum values. • Before & after: compare changes between rooms, windows open or closed, or other everyday conditions. • Sampling reports: review records, trends and statistics, with supported report export. • Local recordings: when “Save Measurement Recording” is enabled, audio can be saved and replayed on your device and is not uploaded automatically. • Sound postcards: create shareable cards with built-in covers or a photo you choose. • Relaxing sounds: enjoy rain, fire, stream and other nature sounds with timers and background playback. • Pro: unlock additional reports and content with monthly, yearly or permanent Pro, and remove in-app ads. Core sound processing is primarily performed on your device, and no account is required for the main experience. Sound Meter is intended for personal everyday observation. It is not a medical device, workplace-compliance meter, legal evidence instrument, or certified professional sound level meter. Results can vary by device, system, calibration and environment."
