About

Know your serve speed — every time, every serve. AceRadar turns your iPhone or iPad into a personal serve-speed radar and slow-motion replay tool. Prop your phone up behind the baseline, hit record, and get an instant speed reading the moment you make contact — no separate radar gun, no guessing. HOW IT WORKS Position your phone behind the server so it can see the whole court, then record. AceRadar tracks the ball automatically and calculates how fast it was moving. THE SAME NUMBER YOU SEE ON TV Speed at contact is the reading broadcasters flash on screen during a pro match — the radar-gun number taken right off the racket. AceRadar gives you that same reading, plus the full picture a radar gun doesn't show: how much the ball slows on its way down, its average speed to the bounce, its overall average, and its speed after the bounce. FRAME-BY-FRAME SLOW MOTION Step through every serve frame by frame. Tap the frame where the ball hits the ground and get a full speed breakdown: • Speed at contact • Average speed to the bounce • Overall average speed • Speed after the bounce Every reading in mph and km/h. DISCOVER WHAT'S REALLY HAPPENING TO YOUR SERVE Because AceRadar tracks the whole flight, not just the contact speed, you can start testing real questions about your own game: • Serve on clay, then on a hard court, and see exactly how much the surface slows your serve • Hit a kick serve and compare its after-bounce speed to a flat serve — see whether the extra spin actually changes what your opponent has to handle • Use the slow-motion replay to check how high your contact point is and how high the ball bounces — two of the biggest contributors to serving effectively BUILT FOR PRACTICE • Trim clips down to just the serve and save them to your personal library • Revisit past sessions any time to track how your serve is coming along • Export a slow-motion clip with the speed overlay burned right in, and share your best serves directly from the app WHO IT'S FOR Players working on serve speed and consistency, coaches who want a fast way to show a student exactly what happened, or anyone who's ever wanted to know just how hard that ace really was. AceRadar is free to use and supported by ads.Read more
