About

Greenhead is a waterfowl hunting assistant for Indiana public hunting areas. It reads the DNR's weekly waterfowl inventory - the counts agency staff actually make on public properties, with the date each one was taken - so you can see what a place was holding before you drive an hour to it. It pulls the hour-by-hour weather for that property across your shooting window, because calm at first light and fifteen by nine are two different mornings. And you can ask it things. Where should I go Saturday. How do I set this spread for a north wind. What should I pack. Send it a photo of your spread or your blind and it will tell you what to move. Log your hunts, keep your photos with the day and the weather they belong to, and save scouting notes with the spot where you actually saw birds working. WHAT IT KNOWS Indiana public hunting areas. Season dates are read from the state agency's own publications rather than a summary of them. Counts come from the DNR weekly waterfowl inventory. Weather comes from the National Weather Service. WHAT IT WILL NOT DO It will never give you a bag limit, a shooting-hours window or a species restriction. Those are yours to read, every time, and being confidently wrong about them is how somebody gets cited. If it has no season data for a place and a date, it says so and sends you to your state regulations. It does not guess, and it does not treat a gap as an answer. Other states are coming. Today it only knows Indiana - if you hunt somewhere else it will tell you it cannot help rather than invent something. YOUR SPOTS STAY YOURS Hunts, blinds, photos and scouting notes are visible only to your account. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared with other users, and there is no advertising.Read more
