About

SparkPro is the professional tool for electrical engineers and contractors who design site and parking lot lighting circuits. Built for iPad and Mac, it combines an intuitive visual canvas with accurate NEC Chapter 9, Table 9 voltage drop calculations — so you can design, verify, and document a lighting circuit in minutes instead of hours. WORKS ON iPAD AND MAC SparkPro runs natively on both iPad and Mac, so you can design in the field on your iPad and review or present on your Mac — the same app, the same data, the same experience on both devices. DESIGN ON YOUR SITE PLAN Import any PDF site plan and use it as your canvas background. Place lighting poles and junction boxes directly on the plan, then connect them in any configuration — radial, daisy-chain, or mixed. Drag nodes to reposition and the circuit updates instantly. Use the built-in calibration tool to set a real-world scale from any known distance on the plan, and SparkPro will automatically calculate wire run lengths as you build. ACCURATE VOLTAGE DROP CALCULATIONS SparkPro calculates voltage drop using AC resistance values from NEC Chapter 9, Table 9 — the same table your inspector will reference. Results are calculated in real time as you design: • Worst-case voltage drop in volts and percentage • Per-segment current and voltage drop • Minimum end-point voltage • Instant red/green indicator for NEC compliance (3% threshold) Supports copper and aluminum conductors from #12 AWG to #2 AWG, and system voltages of 120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, and 480V. PROFESSIONAL PDF REPORTS Export a complete, print-ready PDF report with one tap. Each report includes: • Project information header (company, project name, circuit number, date) • Circuit layout diagram with labeled nodes and wire runs • Full voltage drop summary • Per-segment wire size, amperage, distance, and voltage drop table • Site plan overlay page with the circuit drawn directly on your imported plan • NEC Table 9 method reference footer — defensible to any plan reviewer SAVE AND RELOAD DESIGNS Save any number of circuit designs and reload them at any time. Pick up exactly where you left off, on either device. DESIGNED FOR THE FIELD AND THE OFFICE SparkPro works equally well in a site meeting on your iPad or at your desk on your Mac preparing construction documents. The clean, professional interface is easy to use without training, and the output looks like it came from dedicated CAD software. WHO IT'S FOR • Electrical engineers performing voltage drop studies • Electrical contractors pricing and laying out site lighting jobs • Lighting designers verifying fixture placement against NEC limits • Anyone who needs a fast, accurate, and documented voltage drop calculation SparkPro — professional site lighting calculations, engineered for iPad and Mac.Read more
