About
CoopBook is a private, practical egg and flock tracker for backyard chicken keepers. Log eggs in seconds, understand seasonal changes, track your hens and expenses, and keep your records portable. QUICK DAILY LOGGING • Add 1, 2, or 3 eggs from Today. • Use Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets for fast entries. • Mark zero-egg days and tag unusual eggs such as double yolks or soft shells. • Add an optional evening reminder when today is still unlogged. YOUR FLOCK, IN CONTEXT • Keep hen names, breeds, flock dates, status, egg colors, notes, and a photo you choose. • See laying rate and history without treating days you did not record as zero. • Use a simplified, single-task screen for quick egg counting. • Create shareable basket, flock, milestone, and yearly cards. INSIGHTS THAT RESPECT THE DATA • View daily, weekly, and monthly egg trends. • Compare production with a state-level day-length line—no location permission required. • Track feed and other expenses, cost per egg, and a store-price comparison you control. DATA SAFETY WITHOUT A PRO SUBSCRIPTION • Records are stored on your iPhone first, so logging works offline. • When iCloud is available, records sync through your private iCloud database. • When the data set is ready, CoopBook attempts and verifies a daily on-device snapshot. Settings shows any backup error. • Export CSV files or a portable backup, restore missing records, and delete the current data set from Settings. • No CoopBook account, third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking. FREE AND PRO Core egg logging, stats and insights, cost tracking, share cards, iCloud sync, on-device snapshots, CSV export, backup files, restore, and flock records are available without Pro. Free has a 10-place editable allowance for active hens. Hens created during first-run setup count toward that allowance but always remain editable, even if the initial flock is larger; any remaining places go to ordinary active profiles. Ordinary active profiles beyond the remaining allowance stay visible, counted in records and stats, and archivable, but are read-only. CoopBook Pro offers optional auto-renewing monthly and annual subscriptions. Both plans include the same Pro features. It allows adding, reactivating, and editing ordinary hen profiles without the Free allowance, and adds long-range trend charts, year-over-year charts, and PDF year-in-review reports. The App Store shows the current localized price before purchase. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings, and restore an eligible purchase from CoopBook Settings.
