SEED is a procedural sound ecosystem for iPad, designed for sound designers, experimental musicians and anyone who wants to transform source audio into something unexpected. Load your own sounds and send them through a living chain of interconnected sound organisms: GRAIN fragments the source into evolving granular material. PITCH shifts, stretches and reshapes pitch and formant. RESONATE adds tuned modal resonance and excitation. PARTICLES injects discrete, evolving sound events. SPECTRA transforms the frequency content of the signal. FILTER shapes and animates the spectrum. SPACE places the result inside an evolving spatial environment. Each stage can be modulated independently using waveform, rate, depth, probability, target and timing controls. SEED can run freely or synchronise its procedural movement to tempo. The separate Effects chain adds PULSE, DRIFT, JOLT and CRUSH processors for rhythmic reshaping, instability, temporal displacement and digital destruction.
