About
TackleLab is a logbook built around a simple discipline: change one thing at a time. Describe the rig you in six plain slots, log every session against it, and when you wonder whether a smaller hook or a lighter leader would do better, do not guess. Set it up as an experiment, each value in turn, and let bites per hour give the answer. Here is what you can do with it. - Build rigs in your own words: rod, reel, line, leader, hook, and lure as free text, plus a target species, notes, and a photo. No catalog to fill in first. - Log a session in seconds with the water, the rig, the time, and the counts for bites, hookups, and landed. - Run a live session on the bank: a timer and three big counters you can tap with cold hands, saved as a normal entry when you stop. - Start an experiment from any rig: pick the one slot to change, give it two to four values, and the app always points you at the value with the fewest sessions so the comparison stays fair. - Read the result as bars, bites per hour for each variant, with a suggested winner and a bookmark that marks a rig as Proven once it has earned it. - Ask the coach for a rig review: an AI model reads the six slots and the session totals, flags what does not match, such as a line too heavy for the lure or a hook too big for the bait, and proposes two or three experiments you can open with one tap. - Talk to the coach: open a thread, ask anything about tackle in plain words, and pin a rig so the answer is about your setup rather than a generic one. - See what works over time in Profile: your best rig, bites broken down by hook, lure, or line, and a CSV export of the whole logbook for your own spreadsheet. TackleLab has no account and no server of its own. Rigs, sessions, experiments, talks, and photos live in the app's private storage on your device. The coach is the one feature that goes online; it shows a clear notice before its first use, sends only the rig text or the question you chose, and never sees your name, photos, or the rest of your logbook. Everything else works without a connection at all. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/Read more
