About

Guess the word, dodge the forbidden ones. Venom Words is the party word game with a bite. A game of quick thinking, clever clues and biting your tongue at exactly the right moment. Say almost anything to get your team to shout the word at the top, except the venom words listed right under it. Say one of those and the venom strikes: the card floods red and the penalty lands on your score. Perfect for house parties, family gatherings, road trips, dorm nights and holiday get-togethers. All you need is one phone and a few friends who can't keep quiet. How a Game Night Goes • Split into 2 to 4 teams and pass one phone around. • One player gives clues while the rest of the team shouts guesses against the clock. • Swipe right for correct, left to pass, down for venom, or tap the big buttons. • No loopholes: plurals, tenses, word pieces, abbreviations and translations all count as venom, so "sunlight" is out when "sun" is on the card. • The other team watches the screen and calls venom the moment a forbidden word slips out. • No spare player to watch? Switch to the honor system and the clue-giver calls it on themselves. • Stuck on a card? Pass it, but your free passes run out fast, and extra ones can cost you. • Brace for the 3x Bonanza card after the clock runs out: a short timer, no passing, and triple points for a correct answer. • Wrong tap or missed call in the chaos? Review every card after the turn and fix it. • Take a break any time. The game saves itself and picks up right where you left off. Make It Yours • Set the ambience with three scenes: the moody Night table, the sunlit Desert and the charming Playful. • Tune the sounds, ticking clock and vibration to suit your table, from full drama to late-night quiet. • Play straight away with the default setup, or tune time per turn, turn order, scoring and game length. Race to a target score, play a set number of rounds, or go Endless and stop whenever the room decides. • Card-draw controls put the deck in your hands: 3 to 7 venom words per card, and Easy, Medium or Hard answers. • Go deeper with advanced settings: fine-tune difficulty, keep cards focused or varied, set how culture-specific the words get, and choose how often wildcards surprise your veterans. The Deck • Play free with a curated 300-card deck, for as many games as you like. • One purchase unlocks the complete 6,000+ card deck, every card-draw control and all three scenes. No subscription. • Fifteen specialty packs, from Soccer and Cricket to Hollywood, Science and TV, sold alone or in bundles (Sports, Entertainment, Nerd Night). • Play one pack or mix several. Cards are drawn evenly, so a small pack never gets buried. Why Venom Words • Card-draw controls tune the challenge to your group, from teens to trivia buffs, so it's never too easy or too hard. • 13,000+ cards across the premium Master Deck and optional specialty packs. • Cards you've seen recently are much less likely to come back soon, so every game night stays fresh. • Every new install starts with a free trial of the full Premium Unlock experience. • No ads, ever, not even in the free version. • No accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking. Your games stay on your phone. The app sends anonymous usage statistics, which you can switch off, and crash reports. Built for Friendly Rivalries Venom Words is made for loud rooms and competitive friends. Scorecards show the running totals after every round, round details break down what was scored, passed and lost, and the final stats compare every team across seven measures, from time per correct answer to Bonanza success. Winners get bragging rights. Everyone else gets a rematch. Grab your friends, pick your teams and try not to say the obvious word. That's where the venom lives.Read more
