About
Film records nothing except your photo. No aperture, no shutter speed, no place, no date. Whatever you want to know when the scans come back weeks later, you have to write down at the moment you take the picture. Analogger is built for the one case that really matters here: you want to keep shooting. A logbook that pulls you out of the picture is a logbook you abandon after three rolls. On your Mac, Analogger writes your data directly into your digital scans. So here are three ways — and you choose again for every frame. Whether you shoot for a living or only go out snapping at the weekend: it is the same app, for professionals and amateurs alike. With optional night mode (red light) for astrophotography. BLIND — without opening the app Tap the banner of the running session on your lock screen. Or the control in the corner of the lock screen, once you have put it there. Or the Action button, without looking. One tap, and the frame is in the roll: with time, time zone, place, and the settings that were last in use. The cost is plain: at that moment you set nothing. What was last in use stays in use. Perfect for continuous shooting and fixed exposure. With that, you're fast — even blind with the phone in your pocket. ONE TAP — the shutter in the app The default: aperture and shutter speed on two buttons, then the large shutter button in the middle. It sits where your thumb already rests, and it never moves. Above is the list of your latest pictures, so you can keep track on the same screen. This is the middle ground: adjustable enough for everyday shooting, quick enough that nobody misses the picture. EVERYTHING — the detailed sheet Here you have direct access to your settings for every picture: lens, focal length, filter, exposure compensation, metering, exposure program, light source, distance, title, notes, place on the map, reference picture from the iPhone camera or your library. And all of it can be changed later — every frame, every roll, at home and unhurried. WHAT HAPPENS WITH IT • Every frame carries time, time zone and place — street, city, country, coordinates. • The whole roll on a map. • Search across place, note and frame number. • Frames can be inserted, shifted and renumbered when the lab's counting goes astray (or your own). • Export as an open file of your own. Optional backup to iCloud Drive. • The Mac app is part of it: it matches your scans to the frames and writes the data straight into the image files — EXIF, IPTC and XMP, so Photos, Lightroom, Capture One, and others can read it. WHAT ANALOGGER DOES NOT DO No account. No sign-in. No advertising. No analytics. Your rolls stay on your device. The catalog names cameras, lenses and films so you do not have to type them. Those are descriptive references; there is no affiliation with the manufacturers. Of course, you can set up your own equipment as well.Read more
