Sprout: Let's Read Notes

About
Sprout helps kids learn to read sheet music the way they'll actually use it — by naming notes on a real musical staff, a little every day, until it's fast and automatic. HOW IT WORKS Each kid gets their own profile: an avatar, a practice range, and a progress calendar that's entirely their own. Tap Practice Now, and a note appears on the staff — treble, bass, alto, or tenor clef. Name the letter, get instant feedback (the note lights up green or red, and you hear the actual pitch), and move to the next one. A full session is just a few minutes. BUILT FOR REPETITION, NOT LEVELS There's no ladder of levels to unlock. You (parent or teacher) set exactly which notes are in play — a note range, one or more clefs, whether sharps and flats are included — and every session draws from just that set. Start narrow while a note is still shaky, then widen the range once it's automatic. ADVANCED MODE: REAL KEY SIGNATURES For a kid ready for the next step, turn on key signatures — the staff shows a real printed key (any major or minor key, from no sharps/flats up to 7 of either), and the kid reads notes exactly the way they'd appear in real sheet music. Tick more keys to mix up the difficulty. A DASHBOARD FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY No tabs, no menus — the home screen is a card per kid, each with their avatar, current streak, and a mini calendar of practice stamps. Add as many kids as you're teaching. A STREAK WORTH KEEPING Every day practiced gets a stamp, colored by how accurate that session was. A little sprout badge grows the longer the streak runs. Tap into any kid's full calendar for total sessions, overall accuracy, and a 14-day accuracy trend. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Sprout doesn't have accounts, doesn't show ads, and doesn't collect any data at all — every profile, session, and streak is stored only on this device. Nothing is ever sent anywhere. It works fully offline after the first launch. Perfect for beginner piano, violin, guitar, or any instrument where reading standard notation is part of the plan — and for the parent or teacher guiding that practice.Read more

NEW: Piano Terms quiz! Practice words like allegro, forte and staccato. Each question shows a term with four possible meanings, and your child taps the right one. Choose a grade from 1 to 8 to match how far along your child is, pick how many questions per round, and watch the streak grow — quiz rounds count toward the daily practice calendar just like sight reading. BETTER ON EVERY SCREEN Sprout now looks great in both portrait and landscape, on phones and tablets. Practice questions, the progress calendar and the dashboard all adapt to the screen so nothing gets squashed or cut off. Practic…
