About

FoxTake is a free, minimal teleprompter for filming yourself. No account. No subscription. No watermark. Open it, paste your script, press record. Your script sits right next to the lens, so you read it while looking straight into the camera — no glancing off to the side, no losing your next line. WHO IT IS FOR Anyone who talks to a phone camera: creators making short vertical videos, coaches and teachers recording lessons, founders shooting product updates, and everyone who would rather read than memorise. HOW IT WORKS • Paste your script from the clipboard in one tap • Tap Scroll and the text rolls at a steady, readable pace • Hold a finger anywhere on the text to pause, release to keep going • Record with the front or the back camera • The video lands in your photo library, ready for any editor BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY • Drag the handle to resize the prompter — more room for the text, or more room for you • One speed slider, from a slow read to a brisk one • Font size from 16 to 64 pt, or pinch to zoom on the text • The controls fade away while you are recording THE FOOTAGE 1080 × 1920 portrait, 30 fps, HEVC at 20 Mbps — enough headroom to edit and re-time afterwards. The preview is mirrored so it feels like a mirror, while the saved file is not, so anything written in frame still reads the right way round. WHAT FOXTAKE DOES NOT DO No AI rewriting, no cloud sync, no login, no analytics. It does one thing and gets out of the way. Your script never leaves your device. Recordings go straight to your photo library. FoxTake never connects to the internet.Read more
