About

Graphable is a graphing calculator for the times your real one is not in the room. Type a function, watch it draw, and move the window until the part you need is on screen. It is a companion to the calculator you already own, not a replacement for it. Exams ban phones. Homework does not. PLOTTING IS FREE, AND STAYS FREE • Type y = and get a curve. sin(x), x^2 - 3x + 2, e^x, ln(x), |x|, and the rest of what a course asks for • Several functions at once, each in its own colour, so you can see where one meets another • Edit a function in place and the plot follows • Degrees or radians, switched from the same row you type in • A mistyped expression points at the character that broke it instead of just saying no THE WINDOW, ALSO FREE • Pinch and drag to move around the plane • Or set x min, x max, y min and y max exactly, the way a calculator's window screen does it • Reset returns you to the standard window in one tap • Bad bounds are explained in words, on the field that caused them THE LIFETIME UNLOCK One payment opens Trace: • Follow a curve under your finger and read off its coordinates as you go • Step across to the next curve at the same x to compare two functions at a point • Values are shown to the precision the number actually has Bought once, yours for good, on every device signed in to the same Apple ID. It is not a subscription, there is no renewal and no trial timer, and there is nothing else to buy. Already bought it? Restore is on the same screen, and you will not be charged twice. You are never asked to pay to find out whether the app works. Plotting is not a trial and has no session cap, there is no wall when you open the app, and tapping Trace explains what it is rather than pushing a purchase at you. DRAWN PROPERLY The plot is drawn with a real graphics pipeline, so it keeps up with your finger while you pan and zoom, and curves stay smooth instead of turning into visible line segments when you zoom in. Asymptotes are drawn as breaks, not as vertical lines that were never there. NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGNAL, NO ADVERTS Graphable opens straight to the graph. There is no sign-in, nothing to create, and nothing you type leaves your phone. The plotter works on a bus, in a basement, or in aeroplane mode; only the purchase itself needs a connection. There is no advertising and no tracking of any kind. WORKS ON IPHONE AND IPAD The same app, laid out for the screen it is on.Read more
