About

Qorvia – QR Inspector is a privacy-focused QR code utility that lets you inspect content before opening or using it. Scan a QR code with the camera or choose an image from your photo library, and Qorvia decodes the content directly on your device. The app recognizes links, Wi-Fi credentials, vCards, and plain text, showing the full result before any action is taken. For links, Qorvia highlights potential risk signals such as URL shorteners, punycode hostnames, unencrypted HTTP, visible-text and hostname mismatches, and hostname changes after redirects. The app never opens scanned links automatically, giving you full control over what happens next. Use the Create section to generate QR codes for links, text, and Wi-Fi networks entirely offline. Scan history is available for reviewing previous results, while Settings lets you manage app preferences. The interface is available in English and Russian, with a sidebar layout on iPad for easier navigation. The only network request Qorvia may make is a HEAD request to a scanned URL to identify the final hostname after redirects. Qorvia is designed for safer, more transparent QR code handling without background tracking or automatic navigation.
