FIND YOUR PACE Choose a speed preset from the compact floating controls, make small adjustments in 0.1× steps, or enter a custom speed in the full settings. Slow down a demonstration or move through familiar material faster. SMALL CONTROLS, CLOSE AT HAND Access Picture-in-Picture and playback speed from a compact toolbar on the video page. Move the controls to a convenient position, open more settings, or hide them when you want a clear view. CAPTURE A USEFUL FRAME Take a snapshot of the current video frame on supported websites. Safari handles the download so you can keep the image on your device. REVISIT THE DETAILS Use reverse stepping to review moments in seekable videos. Caption tools work with supported caption sources; enable captions on the website first. GET STARTED Enable PiP Mate in Settings > Apps > Safari > Extensions and allow website access. Open a video in Safari and start playback, then use the extension or its floating controls. On older system versions, Safari settings may appear directly in Settings.
