Izy Doc Scanner

Izy Doc Scanner is a focused document toolkit: scan, view, convert and merge, done properly, with no account to create and nothing to subscribe to. Everything happens on your device. There is no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics of ours and no cloud service. SCANNER Point the camera at a page. Edges are detected, the page is cropped and the perspective is straightened automatically. Capture several pages in one session and they are saved to your library as a single document. The scanner's own filter control is there before you save, if a page reads better in black and white. VIEWER Open any file on your device. PDFs get a full viewer with pinch to zoom, page swiping and a jump to the page you need. Images open with zoom. Text files such as .txt, .md, .csv and .json open in a readable preview, and anything else is handed to the system share sheet so you can still reach it in another app. Documents you have created are listed here too. CONVERTER Turn one or more photos into a single PDF, one image per page. Take any PDF and turn every page into an image you can share. Or resize images: by percentage, by width, by longest edge or an exact pixel size, as JPEG or PNG. Shapes are always kept, images are never enlarged, and your originals are left untouched. PDF MERGE Combine two or more PDFs into one document, in the order you choose. Reorder them before you merge and the result comes out the way you want it. SHARE AND EXPORT Send any document through your device's own share sheet: save it to Files, mail it, print it, or open it in another app. An image document shares all of its pages at once, in reading order. ORGANISE, TAG AND SEARCH Keep documents in folders and add your own tags. Search finds a document by its name or by the words inside it, because text recognition reads the pages on your device, so searching a scanned receipt works with no connection at all. Sort by date, name, type or size, compress image documents to save space, and delete without worry: a deleted document waits in the trash until you empty it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your documents never leave your device. The app makes no network request of its own, so nothing you scan, import, convert or merge is ever uploaded, and a copy only goes where you choose to share it. Uninstalling removes everything it stored. One component does report something: Google's text recognition, which reads the words on a page so a document can be searched, sends Google anonymous performance and usage metrics and may check for updated models from time to time. That report never includes a document, an image or recognised text, and it is not linked to you. The detail is in the privacy policy, linked on this page. MADE FOR IPHONE AND IPAD The interface follows Apple's conventions: native controls, inset-grouped lists, the standard document picker and the system share sheet. Light and dark appearance, a layout that adapts to iPhone and iPad, and text that follows the size you choose in Settings. FREE No subscription, no trial to cancel, no in-app purchases and no advertising. Nothing in the app can be bought or unlocked.
