About
Link is a small box that connects to the RS-232 control jack on your preamplifier and puts a proper remote on every phone, tablet and computer in the house. This app does two things: SET UP A NEW LINK Open the app, and it finds your Link over Bluetooth, shows the Wi-Fi networks the Link can see, and joins it to your home network. One minute, no hotspot switching, no typing IP addresses. The Bluetooth link is used only for this step and only talks to the Link box itself. CONTROL YOUR SYSTEM After setup the app opens the Link remote on your local network: • Volume with a firmware-enforced soft limit — the Link never sends an absolute volume, only single steps, and it caps them at the limit you set • One-tap mute, input selection with your own input names • Bass and treble, output 1/2 switching, meter and tube lights • Now-playing with transport controls for an Eversolo streamer on the same network • B&W DB1 subwoofer gain, presets and mute • McIntosh MEN220 room-correction mode and voicing • Two preamplifiers on one Link, each with its own tab Everything stays on your home network. There is no account, no cloud service and no tracking. The app itself never contacts the internet. COMPATIBLE EQUIPMENT A Link unit (or Link Pro) is required. Link controls preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers and processors that have a modern 3.5 mm RS-232 control jack, including the McIntosh C2700, C2800, C2600, C55, C53, C52, C49, C47, C1100, C12000, MA5300 to MA12000, MHT300, MX100 and MX200, and network-connected devices from Lyngdorf, Rotel/Michi, Denon/Marantz, NAD, Yamaha, Onkyo/Integra, Arcam, Anthem, Audio Research, Mark Levinson, Primare, Meridian, Trinnov, Krell and Classé. See the user manual for the full list. Link is an independent product from Play and Track AB. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by McIntosh Laboratory, Inc. or any other manufacturer named above; their names are used only to state, factually, which models Link is compatible with.Read more

Finds your Link faster and more reliably. The app now tries every way of reaching it at the same time, recovers by itself when the Link's address changes, and can find a Link over Bluetooth on first launch. Setup and the setup screens were also tidied up.
