About
Aerial is a player for the IPTV playlist you already subscribe to. Point it at your provider's M3U or Xtream link and it turns that list into something built for a television: a channel list with numbers and logos, a full programme guide, catch-up where your provider offers it, and recordings. Aerial supplies no channels, films or series. It ships with no playlists and suggests none. What you can watch is whatever your own provider gives you, and you are responsible for having the right to use it. Live TV — channel list with now and next, favourites, your own order, groups you can rename, hide or lock behind a PIN. TV guide — the full XMLTV schedule, jump to any time, set a reminder, start a recording, or open catch-up on a programme that has already aired. Movies and series — everything your playlist marks as VOD, with posters, plots and cast from TMDB when you add your own API key, resume where you left off, and next-episode playback. Recording — record now or schedule from the guide, with padding before and after, repeats, and recordings kept on the device or a USB drive. Made for a remote — every screen is built for a D-pad first, then adapted for touch. Nothing is hidden behind a gesture you cannot make with four arrow keys and OK. Private by design — no account, no advertising, no analytics. Your playlist, your favourites and what you watch stay on your device. Crash reports are off until you turn them on, and have your playlist credentials removed before they are sent. Sending a playlist from your phone to your TV is optional, and what it sends is encrypted on your phone.Read more
