Play classic chess on a top-down board, in a 3D arena, or with both views together. Practice against adjustable AI without an account, and watch animated captures bring the pieces to life. Untimed games preserve the full capture animation; timed games offer an optional shorter animation. Create an account for online matches, friend invitations, blitz and rapid matchmaking, game records and ratings. Online play requires an internet connection. Clear win, defeat and draw results let you review the board when a match ends. War Chess is a separate local, unrated mode with armies, dice-based casualties and its own rules.
