About
Point your phone at a plane. Take the photo. Airframed works out what it was. Every aircraft you photograph becomes a catch in your collection — the type, the manufacturer, the airline, and the registration on its tail when it can be read. Common types fill in quickly. An A380 does not. ONE TAP, THEN GET ON WITH IT The camera opens, you take the shot, and the catch is saved immediately. Identification happens afterwards, on its own. You are never left waiting on a spinner while an aircraft flies out of frame. WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL Capture needs nothing but the camera. Photograph a plane on a runway, on a hillside, or at 35,000 feet with the radios off — your catches queue up and identify themselves the next time you have a connection. RARITY THAT IS COUNTED, NOT INVENTED An A380 is Epic because fewer than 200 still fly. A 747 is Rare for the same reason. Every grade comes from real counts of how many airframes of that type are actually in the air, so a rare catch is genuinely rare. COLLECT INDIVIDUAL AIRCRAFT Where the registration is readable, Airframed records the specific airframe — not just "an A380", but that A380. Photograph the same tail twice and it knows. Serious spotters can work the registrations; everyone else still fills the type grid. YOUR PHOTOS STAY YOURS Every photo is saved on your phone, and a copy goes to your photo library if you allow it. Photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude to identify the aircraft and are not stored on our server. WHAT YOU GET • One-tap capture that never waits on a network • Automatic identification: type, variant, family, airline, registration • Rarity grades counted from real fleet sizes • XP, levels and badges as your collection grows • A logbook of every catch, with the photo you took • Share any catch as a card No ads. No subscriptions. No tracking.Read more
