About
Solar Manager keeps a rooftop solar job on track from the first phone call to the day the subsidy lands. It is built around how PM Surya Ghar work actually runs on the ground: eighteen numbered steps, a portal that wants documents in a particular order, a bank that pays in two parts, and an engineer standing on a roof with one bar of signal. THE 18-STEP FILE Every customer moves through the same workflow - details and documents, site selection, online application, submission to the bank, bank verification, first disbursement, materials, installation, completion details, document uploads, RTS, QC approval, meter release, meter installation, MSEB inspection, MSEB send to billing, bank, final disbursement. Each step shows what is done, what is pending, and what is not needed at all for a cash customer. SCAN INSTEAD OF TYPE Photograph the electricity bill and the name, consumer number and address fill themselves in. Photograph the Aadhaar card and the number is read off it - and flagged straight away if the check digit says it is not a valid Aadhaar number, so a wrong document is caught before it reaches a subsidy file. Photograph a panel or inverter nameplate and the serial number is captured. SITE PHOTOS THAT PROVE WHERE THEY WERE TAKEN A photo taken through the app with location turned on carries the address, the coordinates, the date and time and the weather, burned into the picture itself - which is what the subsidy and inspection paperwork asks for. THE ROOF ON A MAP Pin the site on a satellite map from the office, or from where you are standing. MONEY What is pending on the first disbursement, what is waiting on the final one, and how long each customer has been waiting for it. STOCK IN HAND What is in the store and what has gone to site. Add an item with its unit, correct a quantity, and send material to a customer's job from Step 7 so the store count and the job's paperwork agree. PROPOSALS AND QUOTATIONS Build a proposal on the phone, pull the roof area and expected generation from satellite data for the pinned site, and send the customer a link or a PDF over WhatsApp. 3D DESIGN ON THE CUSTOMER'S OWN ROOF Load a photo of the terrace, set the panel count, size and tilt, and place the structure where it will stand. Add a photorealistic render and a measured drawing of the structure to the proposal, so the customer sees their own roof with panels on it. LEADS Log what was said on a call, set the next follow-up date, and see the day's follow-ups waiting on the home screen. WORKS ON A WEAK CONNECTION Screens keep the last thing they were shown. An edit made to a customer's step with no signal is kept on the phone as a draft, ready to save when the signal returns. Every screen is built for a budget phone held in one hand on a rooftop. IT SPEAKS THE WAY YOUR TEAM DOES Daily tips appear in plain Hinglish - "8 leads mein follow-up date nahi hai" - rather than in corporate English nobody reads. WHO SEES WHAT Admins see everything. A sales executive sees their own customers. An engineer can update the steps they are responsible for on the jobs assigned to them. Disbursement amounts are admin-only. WHO IT IS FOR Solar installers and EPC companies in India running rooftop jobs under PM Surya Ghar, especially in Maharashtra, where the MSEDCL paperwork this follows applies. Solar Manager is issued to installers by their own company: you sign in with a workspace code, a username and a PIN from your own admin. If your company already uses Solar Manager on the web, the same login works here. There is nothing to buy inside the app.Read more

It is built around how PM Surya Ghar work actually runs on the ground: eighteen numbered steps, a portal that wants documents in a particular order, a bank that pays in two parts, and an engineer standing on a roof with one bar of signal.
THE 18-STEP FILE
Every customer moves through the same workflow - details and documents, site selection, online application, submission to the bank, bank verification, first disbursement, materials, installation, completion details, document uploads, RTS, QC approval, meter release, meter installation, MSEB inspection, MSEB send to billing, bank, final disbursement. SCAN INSTEAD OF TYPE
Photograph the electricity bill and the name, consumer number and address fill themselves in. Photograph the Aadhaar card and the number is read off it - and flagged straight away if the check digit says it is not a valid Aadhaar number, so a wrong document is caught before it reaches a subsidy file. Daily tips appear in plain Hinglish - "8 leads mein follow-up date nahi hai" - rather than in corporate English nobody reads.
