About

Ten Doors is a rental property tracker built specifically for landlords managing 1–10 units — not a generic budgeting app repurposed for real estate. Every transaction maps directly to an IRS Schedule E category, so your books are already organized the way your tax return needs them to be. Track rents received, mortgage interest, repairs, insurance, utilities, and every other Schedule E line item, plus capital improvements tracked separately for depreciation. KEY FEATURES • Properties & Units — Track purchase price, land value, and acquisition date per property, with individual units, rents, and occupancy status. • Schedule E Categories — All expense lines plus rental income, pre-loaded and ready to use. Add your own custom categories when you need more detail, including non-taxable tracked categories for things like security deposits. • Receipt Scanning — Snap a photo of a receipt and Ten Doors uses on-device OCR to pull out the vendor, amount, and date automatically. • Reports — Year-over-year income and expense charts, a portfolio-wide or per-property breakdown, and a full Schedule E summary at a glance. • Tax Package Export — Bundle your Schedule E summary, income and expense CSVs, categorized totals, and every receipt image into one file, ready for your tax preparer. • iCloud Sync — Your data syncs automatically across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. • Face ID / Touch ID Lock — Your financial records and tenant information stay protected behind biometric authentication. Ten Doors Pro unlocks unlimited properties, receipt attachments, and iCloud sync. The free tier covers your first property. The Tax Pack adds CSV/PDF export, a full year's categorized totals, and prior-year comparison — renews each tax season. Ten Doors organizes your records for Schedule E. It does not provide tax advice. Confirm all totals with your tax preparer before filing.Read more
