Sorrel: Plant Identifier

Sorrel identifies your plants and tells you how to look after them — and it tells you when it isn't sure. Point your camera at any plant. In seconds you get the name, the scientific name, and a confidence score. When Sorrel isn't confident, it says so and shows you the other possibilities, ranked, so you can compare them against the plant in front of you. No plant app can be right every time. Most hide it. Sorrel doesn't. HONEST ANSWERS • A clear confidence score on every identification • Other possibilities listed when the answer is close • Tap any of them to correct what Sorrel saved • Plants saved from an uncertain answer are labelled, not quietly presented as fact CARE THAT FITS THE SEASON • Care guides for 136 plants, plus general notes for 90 plant groups • Watering advice for the time of year where you live, north or south • Light, water, temperature and humidity at a glance • Feeding, repotting, pruning and propagation • "If something looks wrong": the symptom, the likely cause, and what to do • Care notes come from a fixed library written in advance — never generated on the fly. If nobody has reviewed a plant's notes yet, Sorrel says so. SAFE AROUND PETS AND CHILDREN • Toxicity for cats, dogs and people on every plant we have notes for • Ratings for many plants are checked against the ASPCA's published plant lists, and Sorrel links to them • Severe cases are called out plainly YOUR COLLECTION • Save any plant with its photo • A photo journal to watch it grow • A watering log, and reminders based on your own watering history rather than a generic schedule • Everything works offline and stays on your iPhone LOOK UP A PLANT Browse or search the whole care library by common or scientific name — including older names like Calathea and Sansevieria — without scanning anything.
