CHOOSE YOUR BALANCE Pick Lossless, Conservative, Balanced, Smaller Size, or Custom. Adjust JPEG quality and target DPI separately when you want more control over image detail and file size. PREVIEW BEFORE YOU EXPORT See the original size, result size, and actual savings. Switch between the original and the compressed PDF, or compare them side by side on wider screens. Turn pages, zoom, and search existing text to check your document. WORK THROUGH A BATCH Select multiple PDFs from Files, open them from another app, or drag them in on iPad. After compression, tap the export button on the right of a file row to choose where to save its result. You can also export a batch or send results with the system share sheet. KEEP YOUR ORIGINALS AND RESULTS Compression never overwrites your source files. Only smaller results that pass content validation are accepted. Imported copies, tasks, and results stay in the app until you remove them, ready to view and export when you reopen it. Clearing files in the app does not delete exported copies. GOOD TO KNOW Requires iOS / iPadOS 17.0 or later. Includes 19 interface languages. Savings depend on the source file; already optimized PDFs may not get smaller. Lossy presets can change image detail. Encrypted, digitally signed, fillable, damaged, and zero-page PDFs are not supported. Target file sizes in MB and new OCR are not available.
