About

Plan small workshop projects from equal-length linear stock. Enter your stock length and saw kerf, then add named parts with their lengths and quantities. KerfNest allocates the pieces to stock lengths and shows a labeled cutting plan with offcut and kerf-loss totals. KEEP THE WHOLE JOB TOGETHER • Save multiple projects with independent part lists and progress. • Work in millimeters or decimal inches, with up to three decimal places. • See a material diagram and the exact dimensions for each piece. • Mark individual pieces as made and continue after reopening the app. • Duplicate a project without copying its completion marks. • Share a text plan using the iPhone share sheet. BUILT FOR OFFLINE USE The native planner requires no account or subscription and includes no advertising or analytics SDK. Project data stays on your iPhone; system backups may include it. You choose whether to share a plan. The planner uses best-fit decreasing: a practical estimate, not a guarantee of the fewest stock lengths. Each project uses one stock length and unit. Changing the unit reinterprets values rather than converting them. KerfNest plans linear strips, rails and similar material—not two-dimensional sheet nesting. Up to 100 part types and 500 pieces per project. Requires iOS 14 or later. OPTIONAL ONLINE SERVICE The app checks signed online configuration at launch/foreground and periodically while an online destination is active. An enabled valid HTTPS destination can open inside the app; otherwise the native planner remains available. Configuration requests send the route identifier and app version/build, not saved projects, part lists or completion marks. Network providers process ordinary connection/request information. Embedded websites may retain cookies and other website data. See the privacy policy for details.Read more
