About
Freeboard Survey is a survey tool for professional marine surveyors. It records the survey as you walk the vessel and produces the report on the device — so the report is finished before you step off the boat. PHOTOGRAPH AS YOU GO Every photograph lands in the zone you are standing in, numbered and captioned, tied to the item it belongs to. Crop and straighten it on the spot. A COMPLETE CHECKLIST Engine room, decks, hull and systems, each item marked for condition (Good, Fair, Poor) and test result (Pass, Fail, Not tested), with notes. Add your own zones, sections and items for the vessel in front of you. SEA TRIAL A performance log for idle, mid-range, cruise and wide-open throttle — rpm, speed and temperatures for each engine — with notes. WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL After the first sign-in, Freeboard opens, records and produces the report with no network at all: engine rooms, bilges and offshore. YOUR NAME ON THE DOCUMENT Your logo, company and credentials head every page. Preview the report on the device and choose between three report styles, then export it as PDF, Word or Excel. YOUR DATA STAYS ON THE DEVICE Photographs and survey notes are kept on the device that took them. They are not uploaded to our servers. ACCESS Access is provided by JTN Marine to individual surveyors and survey firms. To request access, visit freeboard.jtnmarine.com.Read more
