Spirit Meter: Ghost Detector

Spirit Meter is a word-based ITC device for paranormal investigation: a live energy meter, a scanning receiver, and a word bank of more than 24,000 phrases that surface one at a time — spoken aloud, logged, and recorded. WORDS THAT COME THROUGH Phrases are not on a timer. One surfaces when the sensor energy crosses the trigger level: a phone lying still stays quiet, and a phone carried through a room — or held near something electrical — produces bursts. Whatever comes through is a single phrase, verbatim: one word, or one whole sentence, never two stitched together. Every language carries more than 800 entries across eight weighted categories — connectors, names, times and numbers, causes of death, anatomy, objects and places, occupations, actions, and states of mind — and a category that has just fired goes quiet for a while, so the rare words keep their weight. 30 LANGUAGES English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Hungarian, Greek, Czech, Polish, Croatian, Romanian, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Icelandic, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Each one has its own hand-built word bank, not a machine translation of an English list. Spirit Meter opens in your device's language; the globe at the top of the screen switches it. SPOKEN ALOUD Narration reads every phrase in a flat synthetic voice through your device's own offline speech engine. The pitch slider takes it a full octave down or a full octave up. REAL SENSOR READINGS Live EMF (magnetometer), motion and rotation, always on screen as an energy activity bar — open it for the raw readouts and a scrolling graph. The magnetometer genuinely measures magnetic field, so what the EMF meter shows is a real reading, not a prop. THE CARRIER A white noise bed with sweep grains, plus echo and reverb — the sound of a spirit box working the band. The soundwave sits still until there is something to show, then moves with the noise and the voice while the scanner sweeps. RECORD AND REVIEW One tap records the session. Every phrase is timestamped into a log you can read back, share as plain text, or keep alongside the audio in the in-app archive. Recordings never leave your device. WORKS IN AIRPLANE MODE Everything ships inside the app: the word banks, the audio, the speech. Spirit Meter makes no network requests at all, so a cellar with no signal is exactly where it works best. NO MICROPHONE. NO ADS. NO ACCOUNTS. NO DATA COLLECTED.
