BabyFood Scan is a reference tool for parents: photograph the ingredient list and see what each ingredient means for your child's age. HOW IT WORKS 1. Photograph the ingredient list on the package (camera or photo library, up to 2 photos). 2. The app identifies the ingredients and returns a three-colour reference rating: Safe / Moderate / Avoid. 3. Open any ingredient to see the sources behind the rating - or switch age stages to compare. WHY AGE MATTERS The same product can be fine for a 2-year-old and not for a 6-month-old. Five age stages are built in (0-6, 6-12, 12-24, 24-36, 36+ months). Results follow your child's current stage by default; switching stages refreshes instantly and does not use a scan credit. No profile yet? You can skip it - the app still shows ingredient results and clearly marks which conclusions need an age, with no wrong defaults. SOURCES YOU CAN CHECK Every rating is linked to public reference documents and labelled with its source: GB 7718, GB 2760 and the Chinese Dietary Guidelines (2022) (China); Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 (EU); FALCPA and the FASTER Act (US). Regulatory requirements and dietary-guideline advice are labelled separately. Ingredients not covered yet are clearly marked "Not rated" - we never guess. ALLERGEN HIGHLIGHTS The app flags the 9 common allergen groups (milk, egg, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanut, wheat, soy, sesame) found in the ingredient list and shows the allergen statement printed on the package. Allergen risk does not depend on age; if your child has a known allergy, follow your doctor's advice. PRIVACY AND FREE SCANS - No account or sign-up. Baby profiles (birth date, nickname) are stored on your device only and are never uploaded. We do not collect children's photos and perform no child identification. - 30 free scans at first launch, plus 30 free scans every month. Need more? Buy a credit pack (100 / 300 / 1000 scans) - one-time purchase, no subscription, no auto-renewal.
