About

Know before you tow. SeaStatus turns live wind, wave, and tide data into one plain answer for the ramp you actually launch from: go, wait, or don't. No charts to interpret, no guessing — just a clear call in language you'd use with a buddy. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick your launch — search by name or zip, or tap your ramp on the map. 2. Add your boat — length and hull type. A 16' skiff and a 24' center console read the same chop differently, so your score isn't generic. 3. SeaStatus reads the water — live wind, waves, tide, and visibility for every waterway that ramp reaches. 4. Get your answer — Go, Caution, or No-go, with the reason spelled out in plain language. WHAT YOU GET • Waterway scoring — every water your ramp reaches (river, ICW, nearshore) is scored on its own, not lumped into one number for the whole area. • Best launch window — the calmest stretch of today, so you launch when wind, tide, and waves actually line up. • Today's tide — the next high and low, and whether it's rising, falling, or slack, right now. • Marine warnings — Small Craft Advisories and other NWS marine warnings for your zone, pulled live. • 7-day outlook (Pro) — the same scoring, day by day, so you can plan next weekend's trip with real numbers instead of a vague icon. • Trip mode (Pro) — turn on monitoring when you head out, and SeaStatus keeps re-checking conditions and flags it the moment things start turning. • Live cameras (Pro) — where they're available, a real camera feed sits right on your ramp's page so you can eyeball the water yourself. BUILT ON REAL MARINE DATA Wind, gusts, and wave height come from NOAA NDBC buoys. Tides come from NOAA CO-OPS stations. Marine warnings come straight from the National Weather Service. Visibility and comfort come from Open-Meteo. Every reading is weighted by waterway type and by your specific boat — not averaged into a single regional forecast. WHO IT'S FOR Recreational boaters heading out for the day — skiffs, center consoles, pontoons, bay boats — from a ramp they actually launch from, not offshore passage-makers plotting a multi-day route. If your question is "should I hook up the trailer today," SeaStatus is built to answer exactly that. Status, tides, best launch window, and marine warnings are free. SeaStatus Pro adds the 7-day outlook, trip mode, and live cameras. No ads, no cross-site tracking, no data sold to anyone. Delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, any time, with no waiting period. Add your ramp, add your boat, and get a straight answer before you back down the driveway. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Service Terms: https://seastatus.app/terms Privacy Policy: https://seastatus.app/privacy SeaStatus Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, available monthly or annually.
