About

Sideline Coach is for the volunteer coach who plans Tuesday's training on the back of an envelope, and wants something better. PLAN A SESSION AS STATIONS Break a session into stations, each with its own set-up, coaching points and time. Then run it from your phone at the side of the pitch — one station at a time, big enough to read with a ball in your other hand, and a timer so the groups rotate when they should. DRAW THE SHAPE YOU WANT Put players and cones on a full pitch or a coned grid, then draw what happens: runs, passes, dribbles and shots, each in its own colour. Build a move in phases and play it back, so you can show it instead of explaining it twice. KEEP A RECORD OF THE MATCH The result, what worked, what didn't. Come next season you'll know what you actually did, not what you meant to do. IT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE No account, no sign-up, no sync, no server, no tracking and no ads. Your plans are yours, and they open whether or not there's a signal at the pitch. Built for grassroots youth football — 5v5, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11.Read more
