Crows & Swallows

Crows & Swallows is a deterministic turn-based tactics game about two flocks with very different strengths and goals. The crows are powerful in a head-on clash. Guide one crow to the nest line—or eliminate every swallow—to win. The swallows move farther during each activation, but they must flank the crows and eliminate every last one before a breakthrough occurs. Every bird faces one of four directions. Moving forward and turning left or right each cost one action point, so position, orientation and the remaining action budget all matter. Activate one bird per turn, decide when to stop, and anticipate the opponent’s reply. Features: • Play either the crows or the swallows against a deterministic computer opponent. • Learn a compact rule set built around movement, turning and asymmetric collisions. • Use the river-and-cliff setting or the monastery rooftop board. • Play offline with no account required. Break through with force, or use speed and manoeuvring to hold the line.
