SunarTur

SunarTur is an offline SwiftUI app for exploring simple Turing machine models through an interactive workbench. Build a machine, edit its states and transition rules, load a tape, then step through the process one move at a time. Use The Movement to run machines, adjust speed, reset the tape, and watch the current state, head position, verdict, and transition table update in real time. The Cabinet includes curated examples across arithmetic, automata, deciders, non-halting systems, utilities, and Busy Beaver style specimens. The Ledger lets you save machines, add notes and tags, attach a photo, delete saved entries, and export a rendered machine card to Photos. Favorites, reading progress, settings, and saved machines are stored locally on the device. A built-in Primer and Dossiers section introduces core ideas such as tapes, states, transition rows, halting behavior, and universality. SunarTur works fully offline, supports iPhone and iPad, and keeps a consistent light interface in portrait and landscape.
