About

Hold a key, talk, and your words appear — in any app, exactly where the cursor already is. Verbatim transcribes on your iPhone. Your voice becomes text on the device itself and is never uploaded, so nothing you dictate leaves your phone. WORDS Speech recognition gets names wrong. Add the ones it keeps missing — a surname, a street, a supplier, the jargon of your trade — and Verbatim learns your spelling. The list starts empty, because the words worth having are the ones specific to you. PHRASES Say something short, type something long. An address, a link, a sign-off. Phrases are matched exactly and on whole phrases only, so one never fires by accident. A KEYBOARD THAT BELONGS Verbatim installs as a keyboard, so it works wherever you type: Mail, Messages, Notes, Slack, your browser. It borrows the system keyboard own background, so it looks like part of iOS rather than something pasted on top. NO ACCOUNT, NO SUBSCRIPTION, NO TRACKING There is nothing to sign up for. Verbatim has no servers, collects no analytics, and shows no ads.Read more
