About

Bites POS Waiter is the floor app for restaurant staff. It carries a table from the moment a guest sits down to the moment the bill is settled, without walking back to a terminal between every step. The app is issued by your restaurant. Sign in with the account your manager gives you and it loads your branch, your menu, your tables and your permissions. 1. START THE ORDER Open a new order and set it up the way the table works. Choose the order type your branch has enabled — dine in, delivery or pickup — then assign a waiter, pick a table and set the seat count. Attach a customer when the order needs one, or assign a delivery executive on a delivery order. 2. BUILD IT FROM THE LIVE MENU Browse the menu your branch is actually serving, narrowed by menu and by category. Open an item to choose its options and variants, set the quantity, and add a note for the kitchen when a guest asks for something off-script. The running cart sits beside the menu on a tablet and one tap away on a phone. 3. SEND IT TO THE KITCHEN Fire a KOT and the kitchen starts cooking while you are still at the table. Not ready to send? Save the order as a draft and pick it up again later. 4. WORK THE ORDER THROUGH ITS STATUSES Every order type has its own path and the app walks it one step at a time. A dine-in order moves placed, confirmed, preparing, food ready, served, completed. Pickup adds a ready-for-pickup step. Delivery runs the long path — picked up, out for delivery, reached destination, delivered — so a driver's progress is visible from the floor. Add items to a running order as the table keeps ordering. 5. BILL AND SETTLE Bill the table when the guests are ready. Apply a discount, add the extra charges your branch has configured, and let taxes come from your branch settings. Split the bill across several payments when the table pays separately, add a tip, and record payment as cash, card, UPI or bank transfer. Every payment is recorded against the order. 6. KEEP TRACK The orders list shows the day at a glance — type, table, waiter, item count and total, with a status on every row. Open one for the full line-item breakdown and the payments taken against it. RESERVATIONS Book a table with a party size, a date and time, and the meal period. Attach a customer, note any special requests, and move a booking through pending, confirmed, checked in, no show or cancelled as the evening goes. BUILT FOR A BUSY FLOOR • Phone and tablet layouts — on a tablet the menu and the cart sit side by side • English and Arabic, with full right-to-left support • Push notifications for order and reservation updates as they happen • Restaurant, branch and currency all read from your workspace • Contact your support team from inside the app WHAT YOU NEED A Bites account issued by a restaurant already using Bites. There is no public sign-up: without an account from your manager, there is nothing past the login screen.Read more
