About
Beldon: Domain Explorer is a focused DNS toolkit for exploring the records behind any domain in a clear, readable format. Look up A and AAAA records for IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, inspect MX records for mail routing, read TXT records, and view the nameservers responsible for a domain. Beldon also supports CNAME aliases, SOA zone information, and PTR lookups for reverse DNS hostnames. Each result includes the returned record values, resolver-reported TTLs, and HTTPS request time so you can better understand the DNS response. Built-in explanations help clarify common fields and distinguish between missing domains, empty answers, and connection problems. Every lookup is started manually, and Beldon asks for permission before sending the hostname and selected record type to Google Public DNS over HTTPS. You can cancel an active lookup or clear the current result at any time, and query history is not saved. The app is useful for reviewing domain configuration, checking mail-related DNS, troubleshooting records, or learning how DNS works. An internet connection is required, and Google receives the query together with your IP address. DNS results may be cached and should not be treated as proof that a website is available, secure, or correctly configured.
