Material Monitor

Keeping track of the finish materials on a custom home is a lot of work, and most offices are running several homes at once. Tile, plumbing fixtures, appliances, lighting, cabinetry, doors and hardware, each with a vendor, a lead time and a delivery that has to line up with the schedule. Somebody has to know where every item stands. Material Monitor is one list for all of it, shared by the office and the field. The office keeps the list on the computer: what was ordered for each job, from whom, when it is due and what has arrived. This app is the field side of that list. On site, your crew can: Receive a delivery. Open the job, check off what came, mark anything short, damaged or wrong, note where it was put and add a photo. The office sees it right away. Look up a material. Search a job by room, material or model number and see the status, the expected date, the vendor and the rep. Report a problem. Missing, wrong, damaged or needed for an inspection. Write a sentence and send it. It goes to the office by email and stays on their board until it is handled. Both sides work from the same list, so what the field records shows up in the office and what the office changes shows up in the field. The office half runs at app.materialmonitor.app, where the company is set up and the crew is invited. Signing in to the app takes a work email and a six digit code.
