Beagle Hunt

Beagle Hunt is a retro 8-bit duck hunt for Apple TV, played the way the classic light-gun games were meant to be played: blind. Slide a finger on the Siri Remote touch surface to aim and click to shoot. The aim is never drawn on screen. You get a short glimpse of it before each duck takes off, and a marker where your shot landed, so you learn to trust your hand, just like with a plastic gun in front of a CRT. Your beagle does the rest: sniffs out the field, fetches the birds you hit, and laughs at you when you miss. GAME A – one duck at a time. Ten ducks a round, three shots each; hit six to move on. Free. GAME B – two ducks in the air at once. Three shots per pair. GAME C – clay shooting on a trap range. Discs fly out of the bunkers, shrinking into the distance. Points climb with the rounds, perfect rounds pay a bonus, and the ducks get faster every five rounds. Top scores are kept per game. The field follows the calendar. Play in October and the tree is on fire with autumn leaves; in January it is bare and the snow is falling. Everything you see is pixel art drawn by the game itself. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Game B and Game C are one-time purchases. Beagle Hunt is an original game and is not affiliated with Nintendo.
