About
Hearthdeal Solitaire is a quiet game of Klondike, built to be easy on the eyes. The cards are the point. Every rank and suit is drawn large, at the top of the card - the only part you can see once cards overlap - so you can read a whole column at a glance rather than hunting for a small corner index. The court cards have their own shapes as well as their own letters: a pointed crown for the king, a lobed crown for the queen, a shield for the jack. The suit pips stay solid and chunky rather than thinning out as the cards get smaller. And if red and black are hard to tell apart, turn on the four-colour deck: diamonds go amber, clubs go green. The rest of the game is sized to match. Every button you touch is a full-size target, the numbers on screen are set large, and the table is lit like a lamp on a side table rather than a casino floor. PLAY AT YOUR OWN PACE Draw one or draw three - switch whenever you like Unlimited undo. It is never rationed and never sold; taking one back only trims the coins a win pays A hint whenever you want one, at no cost. If a deal has become unwinnable, the game says so plainly instead of pretending Play the obvious moves - an option that sends a card home by itself, but only when that cannot cost you the game. Turn it off if you would rather move every card Winnable deals only, switched on by default, so every hand you are dealt has a solution No timers, no lives, no energy bar, and nothing that expires A GAME OF THE DAY One deal a day, the same for every player in the world, and always winnable. It is worked out from the date itself, so it needs no connection and no account - and neither does your streak. SHARE A DEAL Every deal has a short code and a link. Send either to a friend and they play the very same board: if they have Hearthdeal the link opens the game on that deal, and if they do not it takes them to a page showing what they have been challenged to. ON IPHONE AND IPAD The table is laid out for the screen it is on, held either way up. On an iPad the cards get bigger, not the room around them. A SHOP YOU CAN IGNORE Coins are earned by playing well. They buy looks - whole table sets (the felt, the wood, the card faces and the lamp together) and the six colourways of the Lattice card back - and, if you want it, a stretch of hands without adverts. The other five patterns, thirty backs in all, come in one optional purchase that also switches the adverts off for good. It is the only thing here that costs money, and nothing needs it. Coins are never an entry fee, so being broke can never stop you dealing another hand, and nothing in the shop changes how the game plays. YOUR RECORD Games won and played, win rate, current and best streak, fastest win, fewest moves in a win, coins earned. Kept on your device, for you. WHAT IT ASKS OF YOU Hearthdeal plays offline. The deals, the game of the day and your record are all worked out on your device and stay there - no sign-in, no account, no newsletter. One reminder a day, if you allow it, to say the new daily deal is ready. You are only asked after you have finished a game, never at first launch, and if you say no you are not asked again. There are adverts, and here is exactly where. None at all for your first ten hands. After that, one between hands roughly every fourth game - after a hand has finished, never during one and never over a deal. If you would rather have a quiet run, coins you have earned can buy one; that is an option, not a wall. The adverts come from Google AdMob, which is the only part of Hearthdeal that uses the internet. In Europe, the UK and Switzerland you are asked first, and you can change your answer at any time from the Play tab inside the game. The privacy policy linked on this page says plainly what it sees. Reduced motion is respected: turn it on in your device settings and the animations shorten, and the win cascade becomes a simple fade. Made by Nestling Studios.
